If you would like to contribute to one or more of our publications or websites, we encourage you to contact us. We are always interested in hearing from new voices.
If you are a freelance writer looking for assignments, please send samples of your work and your rates to one of the above email addresses or to email@example.com — we welcome your interest.
The following guidelines are a basic summary of what we look for in our writers and contributors:
If you are an industry representative or association working within any of our sectors of focus, we would love to hear from you. Resources Quarterly specializes in all manner of natural resources from mining and exploration to oil & gas, renewable energies, forestry, fishing and agriculture.
Freelance writers are also encouraged to drop us a line as we regularly commission new articles and welcome adding to our regular talent. Typical articles in Resources Quarterly range from 1000-1200 words with photography submitted by the story subject.

HobbyFirm focuses on relating the experiences of micro business entrepreneurs. While they may have their own storefronts, most often these are home-based or mobile businesses. In all cases, they will have fewer than five employees and may either be seasonal or part time, as easily as they are full time endeavours. We especially promote mompreneurs, retirees undertaking new challenges and businesses run primarily for enjoyment or entertainment. We discourage multi-level marketing.
If this description matches a business that you or someone you know is running, talk to us. We may be interested in assigning a writer to cover you or in having you relate your own experience directly to our readers. Story length is typically 500-1000 words and we ask that you submit photography.

The MicroExec website looks to provide ideas and inspiration for undertaking micro business entrepreneurship and alternate revenue paths. We welcome contributors — especially those who are active as business mentors and coaches or who have solid entrepreneurial and start-up knowledge and experience to share. We discourage articles directly related to multi-level marketing. Articles typically range from 500 to 750 words. Writers may link to their own businesses to establish their own credentials, at the editor’s discretion, but direct advertising of any franchises or businesses is normally restricted.
